INSPIRATION : The Pigeons that crowd the city of Ahmedabad and the daily ritual of the residents of this place feeding the birds with pulses and nuts.
FIRST WARP : A plain white warp was set up and the samples woven on this warp are mostly weft faced.
SECOND WARP: The warp was bleached and tie dyed quiet randomly to get a not so typical ikat effect.
THIRD WARP: This warp was a combination of two shades of grey both coming from different set of shafts: One was sateen and the other satin on the top of the fabric.
